The real end to "Avatar":

"...and the next day, the sky people began bombing us from orbit, and didn't stop until we were exterminated."

Other thoughts:

The machines the humans use can burn fuel in Pandora's atmosphere - an atmosphere humans can't breath. This implies a lot of work on fuels than can be oxidized in Pandora's atmosphere. How did such a small group of humans accomplish this?

The movie had an odd "Alien" feel to it. Sigourney Weaver, the power suits the humans strap on, the cockpits of the flying vehicles, the labs, all have the "Alien" feel to them.

"Unobtanium" is everywhere, but let's piss off the natives - who, by the way, are a proven menace - because they're sitting on a lot of it.

"Yes, of course I'll bulldoze a sentient being, because a paycheck awaits."

USB ports in every head? And a compatible protocol among all species?

Military people are mostly bloodthirsty thugs. Yeah, right.

One of the sliens remarks that the heads of the sky people who come to visit are usually so full, they're unable to learn anything. In other words, PhD's not welcome. In other words, check your brains at the door: this is a Gaia thing, y'all wouldn't understand.
