I lived through the GLOBAL FREEZING worry of the 1970's, so please forgive me if I declare "bollocks" on the GLOBAL WARMING worry of the 2000's.

Especially when I come across this.

No. Really. I remember reading an Isaac Asimov (a man I personally worship) story about a future (circa 2000) freezing society, and how easy the freezing might have been to avoid, had we taken the proper measures, in the 1970's.

And now we're boiling. Apparently.

Yawn.

Comments:
While it's difficult to argue with a right-wing opinion piece and the writings of a 1970 fiction author, it seems more reliable to base opinion about global warming on the thousands of highly educated scientists who study this type of thing for a living.

They unequivocally agree that global warming exists and that it is man made. Read for your self:

Not that it matters, because you right-wing nutjobs don't believe in modern science anyway.

Spoken with the conviction of a true believer.

Back in the day, your lot had us living on a flat earth, with the sun orbiting us, and you were willing to burn at the stake those who disagreed.

BTW, back in the day, the DoD was inventing the intertubes, so we didn't have actual debates. Instead we had clear-minded leaders like Thacher and Reagan, and suicidal Soviet-employed morons like those who opposed Greenham Common.

You, Anonymous, are really nothing but a whiskey-delta European.

Pity, that.

Your response is convincing: You are a moron. You compare modern science to 15th century folklore and accuse people who disagree with you of being European.

The fact that you are so self-righteous as to deny the consensus of thousands of much more highly educated scholars than yourself shows how astonishingly ignorant you are.

Either that or you're a troll who has nothing better to do with your life.

PALIN 2012!!

Yes, PALIN 2012.

My only current disappointment is the she won't meet the IOC as US President in Chicago 2016. Instead, she'll have to jet to Rio. (The Won, threats, etc.)

Ho hum.
