You just knew that Government Motors would be run like any other welfare program, complete with advocacy groups and politics.
GM has just emerged from bankruptcy protection. Expect it to start begging for more taxpayer handouts before the end of the year.
It's British Leyland, all over again. Only to be expected, of course, given the empty suit currently running the executive. Let's face it: showing up for the occasional US Senate vote is not quite like running a country.
