It's now 40 years since Mary Jo Kopechne drowned in the back of Ted Kennedy's car. She died with her finger nails embedded in the rear window of the car, trying to claw her way out of a watery coffin. Ted Kennedy had long fled, looking for a cooperative prosecutor. Oh. He's a Democrat, by the way.
Kopechne's killer, Ted Kennedy, "The Lion of the Senate" (excuse my puke), is currently dying in the Kennedy compound on Martha's Vineyard. He's dying quietly, well drugged, and with all the benefits he denied his victim.
Me, I hope he dies roaring.
