Wow! Microsoft's new operating system will play commercial content at lower quality than non-commercial content.
In other words, home-made video will play at a higer resolution than anything from the MPAA. Is this really what they want? Are they that dense?
The encryption on HD DVDs has already been cracked. Microsoft is promising that unencrypted video will look better than encrypted video. I see a rich future for video file sharing software.
