Yesterday was the 12th of July. In Northern Ireland this date is celebrated as the anniversary of The Battle of the Boyne. When I was a kid, growing up in Galway, the middle of July always saw a huge influx of NI Catholics come south to avoid the height of the marching season.

This years seems to have been pretty peaceful. So far. I mean, we are talking Northern Ireland, the place where there's a problem for every solution.
