Here's how the hostilities in Lebanon will play out:
Israel is going to kill most or all of Nazrallah's cadre in south Lebanon. Israel is going to destroy all of Nazrallah's war materiel in south Lebanon. Israel is going to kill most or all of Nazrallah's command element in Beirut. Israel may well kill Nazrallah himself, though word on the street is that he's now hiding in the Iranian Embassy. (Yugoslavian Chinese Embassy, anyone?)
Israel is then going to cut the road between Beirut and Damascus. That done, Nazrallah will be in the position of having lost his cadre, his supplies, his command element, and his lifeline.
Then Nazrallah's chicken is going to come home to roost.
Nazrallah and his cadre tried to start a new civil war in Lebanon through a series of car bombings. The Christians and others who were attacked didn't rise to the bait, but they haven't forgotten either. Nazrallah alone on the ground is going to end up like one of his victims: hacked to pieces in the street.
His end will be as enjoyable as it will be instructive.
